Conditional Formatting in Outlook

In outlook, we have ‘Conditional Formatting’ feature in Views. If you are already aware, ignore it.

Purpose: we can format the mail in the views (Inbox or folders etc), based on some conditions.
Existing example: For new mails, which we didn’t read, text will be in bold so that we can easily understand.
How to use it:
1.       In inbox or any folder where we want to apply it, right click on the section just below search box where we see ‘Arrange By’ and ‘Newest on Top’
 2.       Click on ‘View Settings…’, available to the bottom of the options appeared
3.       A  child window is opened, click on the ‘conditional formatting’ button, available to the left of window
4.       Another child window is opened, click on ‘Add’ button available to right.. you can add a title to it and click on ‘Condition’ to provide the condition to be checked and ‘Font’ to format the mail item in the view

Usable examples: There are many. One among them as an example, if we want to easily identify the mail in which you are in ‘To ’ or in ‘CC’

Hope this will be helpful to you…
